My whole life I’ve been surrounded by wonderful mentors. Today, I’d like to thank them publicly. For the past several years, I was privileged to work at an international firm where “the power of being understood” was not just the company slogan but a real commitment to each and every client. It’s been an incredible education in how to meet expectations, understand client goals, and effectively manage a team to make those goals a reality.
With this letter, I’m announcing the creation of my own law firm, Zyman Law, and taking this opportunity to recognize the people and organizations that were most influential in making this step possible. They include RSM US, my partners at Performance Wealth Investments, the distinguished attorneys who offered me the chance to learn from them during and after law school, and the faculty members at the University of San Diego who inspired me to complete a Masters in Taxation after finishing my J.D. degree. And of course none of it would have been possible without my wife, parents and family that have always believed in me and supported me in everything I set out to do.
Even before I went to law school, I was impressed by my interactions with attorneys who I saw as being on the same team as their clients, as being an accessible and valuable resource, and not simply a service provider. That idea has stayed with me all along. It’s the foundation of Zyman Law. When I help you with a business transaction, handle tax challenges, or close a real estate deal, my goal is to help you grow your business. Said another way, my business is all about supporting yours.
